Are cars available for daily rentals?

While we specialize in weekly rentals, all of our cars are available for daily use as well.

How does insurance coverage apply to these cars?

Each renters individual automotive policy will be used while driving our cars, and must provide limits for the higher values these cars require. We will contact your insurance carrier to coordinate this requirement.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes.  For each rental we will collect a security deposit which will be refunded once the car is returned.  This deposit varies with each car.

How does scheduling work?  Will I always get the time(s) I request?

Cars are reserved by phone or e-mail to our office, and are taken on a first-come basis.  We know that some months may be more popular than others and will not allow users to reserve consecutive weeks.

Are there any mileage restrictions?

All cars receive 50 free miles daily.  Mileage over 50 miles per day is different for each car.

Must I garage the car every night?

Yes, we would prefer that you do.  We realize that in some instances this will not be possible, especially when traveling.  We ask that you garage the cars whenever possible.  Smoking is never allowed in any of our vehicles.

Can someone else within my family drive these cars?

Usually.  If your auto insurance policy covers additional family members, we will allow it with an Additional Drivers Authorization.

What happens in case of an accident?

Use the same guidelines as if you were driving your family sedan.  Check to make sure no one is injured, exchange information with all the parties involved, call the police, and do not admit to any wrong doing.  You will be provided with rental paperwork which will authorize you to be in the car.

How are the cars maintained?

We follow the manufacturers guidelines for service and only trained and certified mechanics provide service.  We inspect each car before each rental to  insure it is free of any damage.

What happens if I get a speeding ticket or other moving violation?

As in the case of an accident, you will be provided credentials to confirm vehicle possession.  From our experience in these matters, it is best to cooperate with the officer involved and treat them with respect.  Panda Sport Ltd encourages safe operation of our cars at all times, and observing all traffic laws.

Do you issue gift certificates?

Yes.  Gift certificates are a great way to treat a spouse or friend to a special luxury.  Contact us with the recipient and dollar amount and we'll do the rest.

Can I enter the cars in 'track days' or other competitive events?

No.  We offer these cars for legal, highway use only.  As we are racers ourselves, we are often at many of these events and will find out if you attempt this.  We realize the temptation, but our insurance strongly forbids it.  We would be glad to put you in touch with local car clubs and others like the SCCA who offer competition-based programs for all types of cars.
